The PTA is the Parent Teacher Association at Peover Superior Primary School.
Everyone who has a child at Peover Superior School is automatically a member of the PTA. However, we do have a small group of parents and staff who meet regularly to plan fund raising events, discuss new ideas, and agree on areas where the money raised can be spent. All year groups are represented from Reception through to Year 6.
Our aim is:
To provide ‘the extra's' for the children, such as new library books, trips to the pantomime or playground equipment. This is primarily done through organising specific fundraising events. In the past few years we have hosted Back to School BQs, Halloween Fest, Christmas Extravaganza, Easter Egg Hunts, and the new Summer Peover Fest for all the children to celebrate their yearly successes. The PTA calendar highlight for our adults is the Summer event held each year in the summer term; during the Summer of 2023 the PTA organised a wonderful Summer Ball raising an amazing £3,000 - this will help to pay for more school trips during the new academic year 2023-2024.

Please support our small but mighty school.
The PTA is not all about raising money, it is also a chance to meet parents from other year groups and make new friends.
For the PTA to run events there must always be a Chair, a Treasurer and a Secretary, but most importantly interest and support from both parents and staff.
In September 2023 the PTA will be holding a meeting in school at 2:30pm to welcome any new members. Please come along and share you ideas for fundraising. This academic year we have had parents come today for a Big 24hr Peover Plod where they walked around the village for 24hrs raising money for school. Our children also joined in the fun and came back to school to a colour run, foam and balloon obstacle course all set up by the parents - their amazing achievement raised £1,500 for school which has helped to purchase a new screen and sound for our school hall.
