Enrichment & Oak Class Passport

As the oldest children in the school, Oak Class plays an important role in leading, inspiring and supporting others across our Peover community. Through the Peover Mini Dukes Enrichment Passport, children in Years 5 and 6 have the opportunity to celebrate their achievements, develop their independence and make a positive difference both in and beyond school.

Our Oak Passport encourages children to challenge themselves, embrace new experiences and develop the leadership skills that will help prepare them for their next stage of education and the wider world. Throughout the year, children will collect stamps and signatures as they complete challenges linked to our enrichment programme and personal development journey.

Belong & Connect – developing strong relationships, working collaboratively with others and becoming positive role models within our school community. Older pupils are encouraged to support younger children and demonstrate the values that make Peover such a special place to learn.

Explore & Discover – showing curiosity, taking on new challenges and developing a deeper understanding of the world through investigations, visits, residential experiences and real-life learning opportunities.

Create & Express – using creativity, communication and confidence to share ideas, solve problems, perform, present and express opinions thoughtfully and respectfully.

Contribute & Lead – demonstrating responsibility, caring for the environment, supporting the community and developing the leadership skills needed to influence positive change.

Many of the challenges link directly to our monthly enrichment themes, including leadership opportunities, sustainability projects, community engagement, creative experiences, outdoor adventures, performances and the Year 5/6 residential. These memorable experiences help children develop resilience, independence, teamwork and confidence as they prepare for their transition to secondary school.

We look forward to celebrating every achievement as our Oak children continue to grow into confident, capable and compassionate young people who are ready to make a positive contribution to the world around them.

Together we will learn to belong, explore, create, contribute and lead!
