International World Peace Day

On Thursday 21st September we celebrated International World Peace Day at Peover.

On Thursday 21st September we celebrated International World Peace Day. We began the day with a special assembly thinking about what is peace? Each class then wrote postcards to spread the word of peace to our newly partnered school in New Jersey, USA. The children enjoyed a peaceful day, writing poetry and drawing pictures of what peace means to them. Class 3 learnt about the Christmas truce during WW1 and wrote some amazing poetry. It's on display in school - please come and have a look on Feedback Friday on 29th September.

Thank you to Katie and Cheshire East Catering for an amazing World Peace Day lunch. The dove biscuits went down so well they'll be a regular on our menu now.
