Chester Zoo

On Monday 21st January, the whole school went on a trip to Chester Zoo and what a wonderful day everybody had!  Class 3 split into three groups for the trip - Mrs Sant's group, Mrs Croxton's group and Miss Woodward's group.  The children's mission for the day was to find out about animals that live in the rainforest and to collect rainforest facts for their letters to Teresa May/Ester McVey about deforestation.  We found out many shocking facts but the most shocking of all was a map of rainforests in the world in 1985 compared to 2000 - the difference stunned the children into silence (and not for a good reason).  Class 3 are determined to change the rate of deforestation and will keep you posted!
