November 2019

What a busy month it has been!

Class 3 have been working really hard since we returned to school after the half term holiday.

In Maths, we have been focusing on addition and subtraction and the children have solved some really tricky multi-step problems.  We have now moved onto multiplication and division and are currently learning about multiples and factors.

In English, children have completed their cycle on diary entries for Letters from the Lighthouse.  Next week, we will be moving onto writing poetry to describe settings in Letters from the Lighthouse.  We will be developing our vocabularies and using our senses to fully explore the settings.

Class 3 have also been busy in other areas of the curriculum - they have been practising for the Carol Concert in Brass lessons with Mr Eccles, they have started coding in Computing, they have written an information text about The Battle of Britain in History and started campaigning for our school General Election in PSHE.

Keep up the good work Class 3!
