New school year, new classroom!

September 2019

Well, it's that time of year again!  We are returning to school after our long summer holiday!  I hope you are all safe and sound and no plaster casts have been required during the break.

I had a lovely summer, spending 10 nights in Ermones on the island of Corfu.  It was a really relaxing holiday and I could've happily stayed for another 10 nights!

Class 3 has now officially moved over the playground to our new home - the Cabin - and you're not going to recognise it!  It should be a lovely space for us all to work in this year and hopefully get our brain cells buzzing!

Our first topic is 'World War Two' and I am really looking forward to getting started on it.  We are going to find out what caused the war to start in the first place, which countries were involved and what life was like in wartime Britain.  We will also be learning about key events such as D-Day and Battle of Britain.  Get asking your grandparents and great-grandparents all about it and feel free to bring in any books or artefacts for the class to share!

Let's have a brilliant start to the year!  Class 3 ARE the best!
