Well done to our new Reception children on settling so well into school at Peover Superior!
Wow, what a great few weeks we have had!
Our new Reception children have been amazing at coming into school and settling into their new daily routine.
As part of our topic 'Magical Me', we have been sharing what makes us unique and special. The children had special bags that they filled with items that best described them, their families and their hobbies and interests. We have enjoyed getting to know each other through circle time activities and lots of playing.
The children have enjoyed exploring their new classroom environment including the role play area, cosy reading corner, maths challenge area, mud kitchen, sand and water play and of course our amazing story-telling and role play shed.
On Friday, we had a surprise visit from Knutsford Fire Service. The children met 'Ant', the station manager who showed us the fire engine and all the special equipment that it holds. The children had a ride in the fire engine and even had a go at spraying the big hose!
