Happy New Year!
Welcome back!
I hope you have all had a relaxing break and are ready to get back to some hard work.
Our topic this term is: Chocolate. For the first half term we will be concentrating on the rainforest and understanding where chocolate comes from.
In geography we will be exploring rainforests. Why do they grow? What is the climate like? Who and what lives there? We will be using this as a stimulus for our art work as we create some exciting pastel landscape sketches.
In Science we will be looking at plants and what conditions they need to grow. Throughout English we will be exploring information texts, poetry and reading 'The Jungle Book'.
In Maths we will be carrying on with our work on multiplication and division and moving onto fractions.
