Welcome back! I hope you have all had a relaxing break and are ready for lots of hard work!

In English, we will be exploring the 'Journey' trilogy by Aaron Becker. We will be using his texts as inspiration to make our own exploration stories. I look forward to sharing them with you!

In Maths, we will be recapping and revising some of the methods we have learnt so far this year. We will also be learning how to tell the time, recognise shapes and measure objects.

In science, we will be exploring the best materials to use to make a boat float. In history, we will be learning all about the Romans. Who they were, where they came from and what they brought with them.

In PSHE we will be learning about RESPECT, in RE we will be learning about the religion of Islam. We will explore the pilgrimages they undertake and learn about their beliefs.

In computing, the children will be using the programme 'Kodu' to plan, make and debug their games.
