Spring 2021

We have been super busy this term. We started with a lockdown and ended with everyone back together which was fantastic. 

Firstly, the children were incredible during this term. The ones in school and those at home worked so hard and were incredibly resilient with using the new technology, the constant changes and new challenges they faced being away from their friends for so long. Once everyone retuned to school we did lots of work on recapping and revising our basic skills. How to play, listen, share and the routines of school. We continued working super hard on our phonics and early reading and this will be the focus for next term too. We also had new equipment on the field and playground which we have really enjoyed making new games on and pushing our bodies to do new things like balancing, jumping and racing each other.

Class 1 is now back to normal again and we are super looking forward to spending the last summer term together before we all move on next year. We will continue to focus on the basic skills to ensure we are ready for September.
