Happy New Year! I hope you are all well rested and ready for the new year ahead. The children have all come back with a fantastic attitude!
We have got back to a raring start this half term and we are very excited about our new learning. This term we will be looking at the Great Fire of London, where it started and the impact on London. We will be exploring our local area even more and using maps and compasses to locate ourselves around. In Science, we will be exploring materials and what they are used for. We will particularly be looking at suitable materials which are waterproof. In Art, we will look at Van Gogh and the impact he had on the art world.
In English and Maths, we will be continuing to deepen and embed the skills we have already learnt and applying these in other contexts across the curriculum. Keep checking the blogs for our updates!
