Enrichment & Our Core Texts

Bringing Our Enrichment Journey to Life

At Peover Superior Primary School, we believe that stories have the power to inspire, connect and shape who we become. As part of our Peover Mini Dukes Enrichment Programme, we have carefully selected four high-quality picture books to sit alongside our four enrichment strands: Belong & Connect, Explore & Discover, Create & Express, and Contribute & Lead.

These books provide a shared language and a common set of values that can be revisited throughout a child's journey from Willow Class to Oak Class. They help children understand the purpose behind our enrichment experiences and encourage them to reflect on the skills, attitudes and personal qualities they are developing along the way.

By returning to these texts throughout the year, children are able to make meaningful connections between the stories they hear, the challenges they complete in their Mini Dukes Passport and the experiences they encounter through our enrichment programme.
